North Star High School has selected its Teacher’s Choice Award winners for October. They are McKenna Ryan, Kyrah Smith, Mark Monteith and Max Vish.
McKenna Ryan is the daughter of Kristen Ryan, Boswell. She is a 12th-grade academic student who participates in cheerleading and Pep Club.
Kyrah Smith is the daughter of Ted Smith of Stoystown. She is an 11th-grade college prep student who also attends the Somerset County Technology Center for health occupations.
Mark Monteith is the son of Mark and Robin Monteith, Hooversville. He is a 10th-grade student who plays baseball.
Max Vish is the son of Eric and Michelle Vish, Jenners. He is a ninth grade academic student who plays football.
