Bienvenidos a la clase del español

I am Señora Studer, the Spanish teacher at North Star High School. This is my second year teaching the #nschupacabras...or NS Cougars as they're officially known.  (ja ja)

 

I teach Spanish 1 through Spanish 3/4 Honors and I teach through Comprehensive Input techniques and reading Spanish novels - yes, even in Spanish 1! In Spanish class, we take a fully immersive approach; reading, listening, speaking, and writing in Spanish. We do this through novels, music, shows/movies/videos, podcasts, and (the students' favorite) making and eating Spanish & Latin American inspired food.

 

I am also the adviser of the Spanish Club. The Spanish club is most well known for visiting the elementary school to teach mini Spanish lessons to the kindergarten and first grade classes! I am also the Prom Committee adviser.
