Review the material and create a game based on following rules. You can work with a partner if you choose but make sure both individuals names are on the document. Submit your Google Doc with your idea of a Quarantine Game by Friday 5/15. Good Luck!

We will creating a scavenger hunt for North Star Elementary to share with their students. Please list 5 Scavenger Hunt items that an elementary student would be able to find in their home or yard. Make sure to be specific and you cannot duplicate any ideas. Please complete by Friday 5/1/20 by 2:00pm. Include your name and the 5 items.

We will post everyone's videos to the classroom and you must respond to each video with some positive feedback. Please critique everyone's work with meaningful responses. You can respond in the public comments and do not simply reply "I like your video." Let us know if you do not wish to have your video on the NS elementary Face Book page.

Review all of the projects and responses posted this week. You need to choose your top 4 favorite projects that you would like to complete as a class. You can put your top 4 choices in the classroom comments. We will total all the project votes and move forward with completing them in the coming weeks.

Review everyone's responses from yesterday's post. You must must respond to at least 2 other students' community project ideas. Please include in your responses a suggestion to make the projects better.

We would like to spend the remainder of year doing projects that would directly benefit our community. Before break we met on Zoom and discussed several possible assignments. A few of those possible assignments were mailing out postcards to the elderly, reading to children on a virtual platform and making videos for others to watch. You need to come up with your own project that we could do as a class that would benefit the community. Your project must be able to complete while still practicing social distancing. List your idea on the class comments and provide an explanation of how it can be executed. There is no need to respond to others at this time.

Socializing is part of human nature, it is what we are good at. In a brief description, how have you been socializing with the outside world. Also how are you going to spend the holiday this weekend. Please post to the public comments and and respond to at least one other comment.

After 911 our nation changed. Intelligence started paying closer attention to possible terrorists, the airline industry implemented stricter travel rules and the U.S. has been involved in wars ever since. Now that this COVID-19 pandemic hit our nation, what do you think will forever be changed in our country? What do you believe will be put in place to ensure this tragedy never happens again? April 1st used to be a celebrated holiday in my house. My family would spend the day planning and pulling pranks on each other. With all the extra time people now have, and the weather being what it is in our area, I am sure people in general are looking for activities they can do to pass the time. One activity we all can do is to learn something new. What is something that you would like to really take to time to learn or master. With school closures anticipated to end after Easter, and the hope we return to our school and our classes; What kind of activity would you like to see teacher’s plan in their individual classes to get back to “normalcy” or would you like the classes to jump right back into where they left off?

We will be discussing the Block Party and future assignments. If you do not wish to participate in the virtual meeting then you can add another location to the ongoing list of activities.

As teachers, we have been bombarded lesson ideas and projects from other teachers to pass our time under the social distancing requirements. Please post a public comment things that you have done to help pass the time!

The last week and few weeks to come has mandated that we stay home and practice social distancing. Obviously, with this mandate it allows people to spend time with family, work on themselves and interests and appreciate the things they have. The COVID -19 Virus has impacted life as we know it. From limiting contact with people to stores not having toilet paper to purchase. After all things are said and down pertaining to COVID -19 develop at least 3 ideas that communities can implement/provide to allow community members to feel safe, come together and return to a sense of normality.

Everyone is supposed to avoid large gatherings and public events. There are people/children that do not have enough food to last 2 weeks. Elderly are more susceptible to the virus and our community is focused on COVID-19. What can you come up with to better our current situation? I would like you to provide one idea that might help our community over the next several weeks. Your concept must be something that is do-able with your current resources.
