Stephany Emert and Kolton Furry, both seniors at North Star High School, were selected as the Boswell Jaycees Athlete of the Month for September.
Emert is the daughter of Jadie Leazier and Travis Emert, Hooversville. She is a dual enrollment and honors student at North Star, where she participates in the marching band, concert band, soccer, basketball and track.
Furry is the son of Melissa Furry and Ross Furry, Friedens. He is a 12thgrade academic student who participates in wrestling, archery club, weightlifting, and is a former three-year letterman in soccer.
