Extra Effort: Shorthanded Cougars Corral Lions in Girls Soccer Action

Despite having only 10 players, the North Star girls soccer team earned a 3-2 victory over United, Thursday, in Ferrellton.

Stephaney Emert scored two goals to lead the Cougars. Alexis Scott added a goal, while Mariellen Mish tallied an assist.

Abby Barnick was the winning goalkeeper for North Star.
