In Boswell, an error plated the gamewinning run for North Star as the Cougars captured a 3-2 walk-off victory over Berlin, Friday. The Cougars tallied three unanswered runs in the final two innings after trailing 2-0 through five frames. Cayden Turner and David Griffth each tallied two hits. Turner, Alec Hoffman and Timmy Tretter each scored a run. Turner and Connor Yoder each pitched two shutout innings. Garrett Huszek earned the win in relief after throwing three innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out two. For Berlin, Brady Boburchock went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Pace Prosser also tallied two hits for the Mountaineers. Charlie Fisher recorded a hit and scored a run. Tyler Miller suffered the loss after giving up two runs on three hits in 2/3 of an inning.
