North Star competed at a powerlifting meet on February 18th at Forest Hills. These awards were earned by the following North Star athletes:
First place - 275lbs weight class Grant Mowry with a total of 1,190lbsSecond place - 181lbs weight class Jesse Samler with a total of 955lbs.First place and Outstanding Lifter Award -148lbs weight class Molly Gontis with a total of 605lbs.They competed against Portage, Central Cambria, Northern Cambria, Forest Hills, Ligonier Valley, Marion Center and Area 56.
