Safe2Say coming to North Star

In 2018, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed Act 44 of 2018 into law. While Act 44 is expansive, a key mandate in the law requires the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General to implement a school safety anonymous tip program. In partnership with a non-profit organization, Sandy Hook Promise, the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General is preparing to activate the “Safe2Say Something” anonymous tip line effective mid-January, 2019. While preparations continue for the activation of this program, please continue to promptly report any tips relating to school safety and security to any school administrator, local or state law enforcement entity, or by clicking here to notify the Director of Student and Public Safety.

Please check back in January for more information pertaining to the Safe2Say Something program.
