Career Day Packet Spring 2020

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is pleased to invite eligible students from area high schools to participate in the Spring Career Day on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 7:30am – 12Noon.

What is planned?

    • Speakers from the following health care specialties.  Descriptions of the specialty along with education requirements will be provided.

Somerset Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Form 2020

**For 2020 the $750 John P. Vatavuk Memorial Scholarship will only be given to a North Star student to honor John’s teaching career at North Star. Thereafter the same criteria will apply to all awards.
 
NOTE: Scholarship awards may be used for tuition, cost of trade certifications, books, transportation, lodging, meals or any type of expense pertaining to your education.

UPJ Future Teacher Day Event - Must Register to Attend

Any senior who wants to attend this should pick up a college visit form in the office.  If all necessary signatures are obtained students will receive a school excused day to attend. 

 

The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown’s Education Division is holding a “Future Teacher Day” on Friday, March 20th. 

This event is limited to college-ready seniors interested in the field of education.

Please share this information with senior students genuinely interested in becoming a teacher.   RSVP is required to attend. 

 

Future Teacher Day  (for high school seniors interested in the teaching profession)

Education Division will Host Special Events on March 20th from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Join us on our beautiful campus for a closer look at teaching degrees offered at Pitt-Johnstown.

Pitt-Johnstown's Future Teacher Day is March 20, 2020. Throughout this day, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Speak with Education Division faculty about our Early Childhood, Special Education, Middle and Secondary Level programs.
  • Observe classroom demonstrations
  • Learn more about the education field and the demand for jobs.

Learn about our new certifications/endorsements in STEM Education, English as Second Language (ESL) and Spanish.

  • Tour campus and meet with student organizations
  • Visit the Admissions and Financial Aid offices
  • Lunch is provided
