Do you have students who are thinking about Penn State? Now is the time for them to submit their application!

If their application is complete by November 30, they will receive an admissions decision by the end of January.

Students must request standardized test scores through the testing service center (either SAT or ACT). Their completed Self-Reported Academic Record must be submitted prior to our review of their application.

Once their application is complete, students can check their status through their MyPennState profile.

Correction About Necessary Tax Information

NOTE: The incorrect FAFSA Checklist was in the initial post.  Please note that you will need tax information form 2018 NOT 2017.  Please see the revised attachments.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Completion Night is being held this Thursday, November 14th.  Students and parents are welcome to attend anytime between 5:30-7:00. If you complete your FSA ID prior to the evening AND have all necessary documentation, the process takes about 30-40 minutes.
Julie Fontana, who is our PHEAA representative, will be on hand to help parents go through the application process.
Attached our handouts that explain the importance of the FSA ID and the required documentation.  Any student who wants/needs help to create his/her FSA ID at school can stop down and see me.
It is strongly recommended that you create this account prior to that evening.  Both students and parents have to create an account.
